KitchenAid KICU508SBL Induction Cooktop Review

At 30″ wide, the KitchenAid KICU508SBL induction cooktop isn’t the biggest model on the market, but it still has plenty of style and functionality. The KitchenAid KICU508SBL has 4 electric cooking zones. There are 3 similar-sized zones, and 1 larger zone in a more central location. The larger zone is a great size for larger pots, and I think the more central location is a good spot for it to be. I really love that this is an induction electric cooktop – which speeds up the boiling process considerably. There is also a very useful feature called “keep warm”, which is basically a ultra-low heat setting.

I wouldn’t say the KitchenAid KICU508SBL is overly expensive (currently priced around $1,900), but it’s definitely not the cheapest 30″ induction cooktop on the market. One thing that most users would probably find annoying is how easy it starts to look dirty and show fingerprints. Other than those two things, I find the KICU508SBL model to be a superb 30″ cooktop. I’m giving it 4.5 / 5 stars.
