Bosch NGM8054UC is a classy looking 5 burner gas cooktop. It is 30″ wide, so it’s not the biggest on the market, yet it gives the feel of being a larger industrial model. The low-profile grates are easy to remove for cleaning. Another benefit of low-profile grates is that you can cook closer to the flame – giving you faster boiling and searing abilities. The central burner is the biggest and is great for those bigger pots and pans. The other four burners are pretty average. One burner you can actually turn down to 400 BTUs, which works great for sauces and other delicate foods.
The Bosch NGM8054UC gas cooktop’s price is a little over $1,000. I wouldn’t consider that overly expensive, but it is getting on the higher end. I think the price of this model is its biggest negative. Other than that, there really isn’t too much to complain about on this Bosch model. I give the NGM8054UC gas cooktop a 4.5/5 star rating.
